11. Privacy Addendum — Time Tracker for Zoho CRM
Applies specifically to the “Time Tracker” extension published by Techwave Solutions on the Zoho Marketplace. It supplements the general Privacy Policy above, which continues to apply.
Last updated: 27-07-2026
About the extension
Time Tracker is a Zoho CRM widget extension. It runs entirely inside your Zoho CRM account, in your browser. It has no server or database of its own: every read and write happens through Zoho’s own CRM APIs, authenticated as the signed-in CRM user. As a result, Techwave Solutions does not receive, store, or have access to any data you create or manage with the extension.
Data the extension accesses, and why
Within your Zoho CRM organization, and only to provide its features, the extension reads and writes:
- The signed-in user’s identity (name, ID, email, timezone) — to attribute actions and enforce report access.
- The list of CRM users (names, IDs, emails) — for the “Report access” picker and the “Sync New User” function.
- CRM records you open or report on (the name and ID of Deals, Leads, Contacts and Accounts) — to attach time to the right record.
- Time entries, time-logger records and tasks — the
core data the extension creates in its own CRM modules
(
Time_Logs,Time_Loggers,Time_Tracker_Tasks). - Two org-level settings (enabled modules; who may see org-wide reports).
All of this data is created, stored and displayed inside your own Zoho CRM account and is owned by you.
What the extension does not do
- It does not transmit your CRM data, time entries or personal information to Techwave Solutions or to any external server.
- It uses no cookies, local storage, tracking pixels, analytics or telemetry.
- It does not sell, rent or share your data.
- CSV export is generated in your browser from data already on screen and saved to your own device — nothing is uploaded.
Third-party libraries
To run, the extension loads two JavaScript files from external hosts:
Zoho’s official Widget SDK (live.zwidgets.com) and the
ApexCharts charting library (cdn.jsdelivr.net). These hosts
receive only the standard request metadata any browser sends when
downloading a file (such as IP address and browser type);
they receive none of your CRM data, because the extension
only downloads a library from them and never sends data to them. If the
charting host is blocked by your network, the reports fall back to a
built-in chart style and keep working.
Storage, retention and your rights
Because all data stays in your Zoho CRM organization, its location, security, retention and your access/correction/deletion rights follow the relevant sections of the general Privacy Policy above and your agreement with Zoho. You can view or edit any extension record directly in CRM, delete individual time entries, or uninstall the extension to stop its processing.
