Pro · Mapping step · every trigger

Sends the feed only when the record matches your rules. For example, you can send only leads from Bangladesh, or only orders over 1,000. The panel is under the field mapping on the Mapping step. On a Webhook feed, which has no Mapping step, it sits under the webhook builder on the Destination step.

Turn it on

  1. Open the panelOpen the feed and go to the Mapping step. The Conditional logic panel is under the field mapping.
  2. Switch it onTurn on Only send when the conditions below match. While it is off, the feed sends every record, and your rules are kept but not used.
  3. Add conditionsFor each condition, pick a field, an operator and a value. Use + Add condition for another condition in the same group, or + Add group (OR) for a separate group.
  4. Save the feedThe rules apply from the next record on.

Groups: AND inside, OR between

All conditions inside a group must match. A record passes when it matches any one group. In other words, the rules read as (A and B) or (C).

Example: send local leads with a big budget, and every Enterprise lead
Only send when the conditions below match.While this is off, the feed sends every record it receives.

How values are compared

  • Case doesn’t matter, including for non-English letters. bangladesh matches Bangladesh.
  • Fields with several values (checkbox groups, multi-selects, tags) match when any one of their values matches.
  • Numbers can carry formatting. 1,250.00 and $1,250 both count as 1250. A value with no digits never counts as zero, so an empty field does not pass is greater than 0.
  • You can use fields you haven’t mapped. A condition can name any field the trigger offers, mapped or not.
  • Works with every trigger: form submissions and all Pro triggers.

When in doubt, the record is sent. The feed sends in each of these cases:

  • it has no rules;
  • the switch is on but no conditions were added;
  • a rule can’t be read, for example one saved by a newer version.

Your rules keep working if the Pro licence lapses, but you can’t edit them until it is renewed.

A record that doesn’t match is skipped quietly. It is not an error, so it does not show up as a failure in the log.

Troubleshooting

What you seeWhat to do
A feed with conditions sends nothingCheck whether the condition switch is on, and whether the field names and values match real submissions. Check one condition at a time. A record that doesn’t match is skipped quietly, not logged as an error.
