FormBridge for Zoho Pro

A WordPress to Zoho Analytics integration writes each form submission straight into a table in your Zoho Analytics workspace, so your reports and dashboards update without a CSV import.

This guide shows how to set up the Zoho Analytics destination in FormBridge for Zoho: choose your account and the app, pick the workspace and the table, decide whether rows are added or updated, map your form fields to the table columns, add optional conditional logic, then create the feed.

Pro feature

The Zoho Analytics destination is part of FormBridge for Zoho Pro. See how to install Pro and activate your licence.

Before you start

  • FormBridge for Zoho Pro is installed and your licence is active.
  • Your WordPress form is published and its trigger is set up in FormBridge for Zoho.
  • Your Zoho account is authorised for Zoho Analytics under FormBridge for Zoho → Connections. If it isn’t, follow the guide to creating a Zoho connection.
  • The workspace and the table already exist in Zoho Analytics, and the table has a column for every form field you want to send.

How to set up a WordPress to Zoho Analytics integration

Once your form trigger and feed details are ready, follow these eight steps.

  1. Step 1: Select your account

    Destination › Account

On the Destination step, open the Account dropdown and choose the Zoho account you authorised under FormBridge for Zoho → Connections. Rows are written into this account’s workspaces.

    No account in the list?

Use Connect account at the top of the panel, or create the connection first and return to the feed. Learn how to create a Zoho connection.

  2. Step 2: Select Zoho Analytics as the Zoho app

    Destination › Zoho app

Open the Zoho app dropdown and select Zoho Analytics. The dropdown lists every app your account is authorised for.

Zoho Analytics not in the list?

The connection must include Zoho Analytics. Open FormBridge for Zoho → Connections, choose Edit access for the account, tick Zoho Analytics and reauthorise. Zoho grants only the permissions asked for when a connection is made.

  3. Step 3: Select the workspace

    Destination › Organization

The field is labelled Organization, but for Zoho Analytics it lists your workspaces — the containers that hold your tables and reports. Choose the workspace the table lives in.

The list is read from your account, so a workspace shared with you appears here as well as your own. Use the reload button beside the dropdown if a workspace you have just created isn’t listed yet.

  4. Step 4: Select the table and what it should do

    Destination › Module

The Module dropdown lists the tables inside the workspace you picked. Each table appears twice, once for each action:

    • Table “…”: add a row — appends a new row for every submission.
    • Table “…”: update matching rows — changes the rows that already match instead of adding another one.

The table you choose here decides the Zoho field list on the mapping step: those fields are the table’s own columns.

  5. Step 5: Set duplicate handling and continue

    Destination › Duplicate handling

Duplicate handling decides what happens when Zoho Analytics already holds a row for the same person. Tick Update the matching Zoho record instead of creating a duplicate to have the existing row updated; leave it clear and every submission adds a row of its own.

Tick it for a table that should hold one row per person, such as a subscriber or customer list. Leave it clear for a table that is a log, where each submission is an event in its own right.

Then click Continue to move on to the mapping step.

  6. Step 6: Map the form fields to the table columns

    Mapping › Field mapping

On the Mapping step, give each Zoho field a form field. Both lists load on their own: the Zoho fields are the columns of the table you chose, and the form fields come from your form.

On each row, leave Source as Form field, pick the form field in the second column, then pick the column it should fill in the Zoho field column — your form’s Name into First Name, Email into Email, Mobile into Mobile, and so on. Use Remove to drop a row you don’t need.

    Match the column type

Zoho Analytics gives every column a data type. Send a date field into a date column and a number into a number column, or the row can be rejected when the feed runs.

  7. Step 7: Send fixed values and add more rows

    Mapping › Static value

Click + Add mapping row to fill more columns. To send the same value with every submission, set Source to Static value: the form field column greys out and you type the value in the Static value box instead.

This is how you tag rows that the form itself does not collect — a fixed Company Id, say, or a Company name — so you can filter and group on it later in your reports.

  8. Step 8: Set conditions and create the feed

Mapping › Conditional logic and Create feed

Conditional logic lets a feed write a row only for the submissions you want, which keeps a reporting table free of test entries and submissions that don’t belong in it. Turn on Only send when the conditions below match, then build your rules: conditions inside a group must all match, and a record passes if it matches any one group. While the switch is off the feed sends every record it receives, and any rules you have written are kept but not applied.

Read the full conditional logic guide →

When the mapping is ready, click Create feed. The feed starts listening to the selected form straight away, so submit the real form once with test data to confirm the whole flow before you point a report at the table.

    Delivery logs

Every delivery, successful or failed, is recorded under FormBridge for Zoho → Logs. Failed deliveries can be sent again with Resubmit.

Good to know
  • One feed listens to exactly one form and writes to one table. For a second table, create a second feed.
  • Changing the account, app, workspace or table after mapping clears the mapping rows, so set those first.
  • Columns are created in Zoho Analytics, not here. Add the column there first, then reload the list.

Verify the integration

  1. Submit the real form with a value you will recognise.
  2. Check the log under FormBridge for Zoho → Logs and confirm the delivery succeeded.
  3. Open the table in Zoho Analytics and find the new row.
  4. Check every column, including the static values, and that dates and numbers landed in the right format.
  5. Submit again with the same email to confirm duplicate handling behaves the way you set it.

Troubleshooting

Pick the symptom you’re seeing to get the fix.

No row appears in the table

Likely cause
The feed never ran, or Zoho Analytics rejected the row.
How to fix it
Open FormBridge for Zoho → Logs. No entry means the trigger didn’t fire, so check the form selected on the Trigger step. A failed entry shows the error Zoho Analytics returned.

Zoho Analytics missing from the dropdown

Likely cause
The connection was authorised before Analytics was added.
How to fix it
Open Connections → Edit access for the account, tick Zoho Analytics and reauthorise.

The workspace or table list is empty

Likely cause
The list was loaded before the workspace or table existed, or the account cannot reach it.
How to fix it
Use the reload button beside the dropdown. If it is still empty, confirm in Zoho Analytics that the connected account has access to that workspace.

A column is missing from the Zoho field list

Likely cause
The column was added after the table was selected.
How to fix it
Reload the Module list, select the table again, then return to the mapping step. The Zoho field list is the table’s own column list.

The row arrives but a value is empty or wrong

Likely cause
The value does not suit the column’s data type.
How to fix it
Check the column type in Zoho Analytics. Dates must reach a date column in a format it accepts, and a number column rejects text. Send the value to a text column if you cannot change the form.

The table fills up with duplicates

Likely cause
Duplicate handling is off, or the table is set to add a row.
How to fix it
Edit the feed, tick Update the matching Zoho record instead of creating a duplicate on the Destination step, or choose the table’s update matching rows option instead.

Frequently asked questions

What is a workspace in a Zoho Analytics feed?

A workspace is the Zoho Analytics container that holds your tables and reports. The Organization dropdown in FormBridge lists the workspaces your connected account can reach, and the Module dropdown then lists the tables inside the workspace you picked.

What is the difference between add a row and update matching rows?

Add a row appends a new row to the table for every submission. Update matching rows changes the rows that already match instead of adding another one, so the table does not fill up with duplicates of the same person.

Why are my table columns missing from the Zoho field list?

The Zoho field list is the table’s own column list, loaded when you picked the table. If you added a column in Zoho Analytics afterwards, use the reload button beside the Module dropdown and select the table again.

Can I send a value that is not on the form?

Yes. Set Source to Static value on a mapping row, leave the form field column empty and type the value in the Static value box. It is sent with every submission.

Does the feed update a row instead of creating a duplicate?

Only if you ask it to. Tick “Update the matching Zoho record instead of creating a duplicate” on the Destination step, or choose the table’s update matching rows option.

Can one form send rows to two different workspaces?

Yes, with two feeds. A feed sends to one table in one workspace, so create a second feed on the same form for the other workspace.
