Before you start
- Your WordPress form is published and its trigger is set up in FormBridge for Zoho.
- Your Zoho account is authorised for Zoho Inventory under FormBridge for Zoho → Connections. If it isn’t, follow the guide to creating a Zoho connection.
- You know which organization and module should receive the data, and your form collects that module’s required fields.
How to set up a WordPress to Zoho Inventory integration
Once your form trigger is ready, open the destination step and follow these seven steps.
Step 1: Select your connected account
Zoho destination › Connected accountOn the Zoho destination step, open the Connected account dropdown and choose the Zoho account you authorised under FormBridge for Zoho → Connections. Records are created in this account.
No account in the list?Use Connect a new account at the top of the panel, or create the connection first and return to the feed. Learn how to create a Zoho connection.

Choosing the connected Zoho account. Step 2: Select Zoho Inventory as the Zoho app
Zoho destination › Zoho appOpen the Zoho app dropdown and select Zoho Inventory. This tells FormBridge to send the submitted form data to Zoho Inventory.
Inventory not in the dropdown? The connection must include Zoho Inventory. Open FormBridge for Zoho → Connections, choose Edit access for the account, tick Zoho Inventory and reauthorise. Zoho grants only the permissions asked for at the time a connection is made.

Selecting Zoho Inventory as the Zoho app. Step 3: Select the organization
Zoho destination › OrganizationFrom the Organization dropdown, choose the Zoho organization that should receive the data. If your Zoho account holds more than one organization, check that you pick the right one, because records are created only in the organization you select.

Choosing the organization. Step 4: Select the module
Zoho destination › Module / resourceFrom the Module / resource dropdown, choose what the feed should create in Zoho Inventory: Customers / Contacts or Items. The list loads from Zoho once the app and account are chosen.

Choosing the module that receives the data. Step 5: Configure duplicate handling
Zoho destination › Duplicate handlingUnder Duplicate handling, tick Update the matching Zoho record instead of creating a duplicate if an existing record should be updated rather than a second one created. Then click Continue.
How matching works in Zoho InventoryZoho Inventory has no upsert, so FormBridge looks the contact up by email address first and updates it when it already exists. If the lookup itself fails, the record is still created, so a submission is never lost.

Configuring duplicate handling. Step 6: Map your form fields
Mapping › Field mappingMatch each WordPress form field to the Zoho Inventory field that should store its value. For example, map your form’s Email field to the Inventory Email field, which is also the field used for duplicate matching.
Required fieldsMap a name value for the module you chose: the contact name for Customers / Contacts, or the item name for Items. If a required field is empty, Zoho Inventory won’t create the record.

Mapping WordPress form fields to Zoho Inventory fields. Step 7: Create the feed and test it
Mapping › Create feedClick Add Mapping Row to map more fields. You can also give a field a static value, which is sent with every submission.
After mapping the required fields, click Create feed. The feed starts listening to the selected form, so submit the form with test data to confirm it works.

Adding a static value with Add Mapping Row. Delivery logsEvery delivery, successful or failed, is recorded under FormBridge for Zoho → Logs. Failed deliveries can be sent again with Resubmit.
- One feed listens to exactly one form. If two forms should send data to Zoho Inventory, create two feeds.
- Changing the Zoho app, account, organization or module after mapping clears the mapping rows, so set those first.
- To see exact Zoho Inventory field API names, go to FormBridge for Zoho → Connections and click Modules & Fields for the account.
Verify the integration
- Submit a test entry using an email address you can recognise.
- Check the log under FormBridge for Zoho → Logs and confirm the delivery succeeded.
- Find the record in the Zoho Inventory organization and module you selected.
- Check the values, including any static values.
- Test duplicate handling, if it’s on, by submitting the same email again. The existing contact should update, and the log should say the record was updated rather than created.
Troubleshooting
Pick the symptom you’re seeing to get the fix.
No record is created
- Likely cause
- A required field is unmapped.
- How to fix it
- Map the name field for the selected module, then check the Logs screen for the error returned by Zoho Inventory.
Zoho Inventory missing from the dropdown
- Likely cause
- The connection was authorised before Inventory was added.
- How to fix it
- Open Connections → Edit access for the account, tick Zoho Inventory and reauthorise.
Record in the wrong organization
- Likely cause
- A different organization was selected in the feed.

Duplicate contacts
- Likely cause
- Duplicate handling is turned off, or the email field isn’t mapped.
- How to fix it
- Tick the duplicate handling checkbox in Step 5 and map your form’s email field, which is what the lookup uses.
Mapping rows cleared

- The app, account, organization or module changed after mapping.

Field name not found
- Likely cause

Frequently asked questions
What can a feed create in Zoho Inventory?
A feed can create Customers / Contacts or Items. Choose one under Module / resource, then map that module’s required fields.
Does this update existing contacts or always create new ones?
That depends on duplicate handling. When it is on, FormBridge looks the contact up by email and updates the existing record. When it is off, every submission creates a new record.
Why is Zoho Inventory missing from the Zoho app dropdown?
The connection was authorised without Inventory. Open Connections, choose Edit access for that account, tick Zoho Inventory and reauthorise.
Can two forms send data to Zoho Inventory?
Yes. Each feed listens to exactly one form, so create a separate feed for each form.
Where do I find Zoho Inventory field API names?
Go to FormBridge for Zoho → Connections and click Modules & Fields for the connected account.
