How to connect HappyForms to Zoho Desk
Twelve steps, from creating the feed to a live submission reaching Zoho Desk.
Steps 1–4 · Trigger and details
Step 1: Create a new integration feed
FormBridge for Zoho › All FeedsIn your WordPress dashboard, open FormBridge for Zoho, click All Feeds, then click + Add New Feed.

Starting a new feed from the All Feeds screen. Step 2: Select HappyForms as the trigger
New feed › Trigger appFrom the list of trigger apps, select HappyForms. The feed will now run each time the HappyForms form you choose is submitted.

Selecting HappyForms as the trigger. Step 3: Enter a feed title
New feed › Feed titleOn the Name this feed screen, enter the required information. In the Feed title field, enter a name of your choice, for example HappyForms to Zoho Desk contacts. The title is used inside WordPress only, in the feed list and the delivery log.

Naming the feed. Step 4: Select your HappyForms form
New feed › FormOpen the Form dropdown, which lists your HappyForms forms. Select the one that should send data to Zoho, then click Continue.
One feed, one formEach feed listens to exactly one form. To connect another HappyForms form, create another feed.

Choosing the HappyForms form this feed listens to.
Steps 5–12 · Destination and mapping
Step 5: Select your connected Zoho account
Zoho connection step › Connected accountOn the Zoho connection step, open the Connected account dropdown and choose the Zoho account you connected under FormBridge for Zoho → Connections. Records are created in this account, and each feed can use a different one.
No account in the list?Create a connection first, then return to the feed. Learn how to create a Zoho connection.

Choosing the connected Zoho account. Step 6: Select Zoho Desk as the Zoho app
Zoho connection step › Zoho AppNext, open the Zoho App dropdown and select Zoho Desk. This tells FormBridge to send the submitted HappyForms data to Zoho Desk.

Selecting Zoho Desk as the destination app. Step 7: Select the organization
Zoho connection step › OrganizationFrom the Organization dropdown, choose the Zoho Desk organization that should receive the data.

Choosing your Zoho Desk organization. Step 8: Select the department
Zoho connection step › DepartmentFrom the Department dropdown, choose the department where incoming contacts or tickets should be routed and assigned in Zoho Desk.

Choosing the Zoho Desk department. Step 9: Select the Zoho Desk module
Zoho connection step › Module / resourceFrom the Module / resource dropdown, choose the Zoho Desk module that should receive your form data. To add new people from a contact form, choose Contacts.

Choosing the Zoho Desk module that receives the data. Step 10: Turn on the duplicate check
Zoho connection step › Duplicate CheckThe duplicate check looks for an existing Zoho Desk record that matches the submission, based on email, name or another field. When it finds a match, FormBridge updates that record instead of creating a new one.
Turn it on if you want existing records updated, then click Continue.

Turning on the duplicate check to update existing records. Step 11: Map your HappyForms fields
Mapping step › Field MappingMatch each HappyForms field to the Zoho Desk field that should store its value. Click Add Mapping Row to map more fields.
Required fieldsEach Zoho Desk module has its own required fields. For Contacts, map a value to Last Name. If a required field is empty, Zoho Desk won’t create the record.

Mapping HappyForms fields to Zoho Desk fields. Step 12: Create the feed and test it
Mapping step › Create feedIf a Zoho Desk field should always get the same value, set a static value in its mapping row instead of choosing a form field. When the required fields are mapped, click Create feed.

Adding a static value and creating the feed. Submit the selected HappyForms form with test data to confirm the connection works.
Delivery logsEvery delivery, successful or failed, is recorded under FormBridge for Zoho → Logs. Failed deliveries can be sent again with Resubmit.
- One feed listens to exactly one form. If two HappyForms forms should both send data to Zoho Desk, create two feeds.
- Changing the Zoho app, account or module after mapping clears the mapping rows, so set those first.
- To see exact Zoho Desk field API names, go to FormBridge for Zoho → Connections and click Modules & Fields for the account.
